!Eternity in every Minute!
The alarm clocks of today have various sounds by which we can wake up. Many of them talk, sing or laugh until its owner is wide awake. One that has proven to be a big hit among young people sounds as loud as a dozen emergency alarms going off at the same time. Some alarm clocks would scare the living daylights out of any sleeper with screaming ambulances or rapid machine gun fire.
Japan now produces radio-controlled clocks that have a margin of error of only one second in every 100,000 years. Who will ever need that? Radio-controlled clocks are a far cry from the first alarm clock that was manufactured in Japan in 1899. That windup clock produced an alarm sound when a part repeatedly hit on a metal bell.
All these alarm clocks make me think — How do I spend my time?
The most precious commodity at my disposal is time. Eternity is in every little tiny minute!
God has allotted time to me and to every one alive, a minute at a time. Do I use it rightly? Do I use it completely? Do I use it willingly? Do I want to redo it after I have finished because I am sorry of what took place?
Will I walk in wisdom…redeeming the time? (Col. 4:5- Walk in wisdom toward them that are without, redeeming the time. )
Will I redeem the time, because the world is full of evil? (Eph 5:16, 17–Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.)
Let us be determined not to waste time and to do for God what we can within our particular circumstance and according to His Plan, His Word, and His Way!
