Kenneth Mansell
Ken was born into a Christian home where his parents were always involved in attending a Baptist church when the doors were open. His father was a deacon and both parents loyally served God and the church. Ken attended all the services, took part in anything the children and eventually youth took part in; memorized scripture, read his Bible, tried to obey his parents and thought he was a Christian. When he was 11 while at summer Bible camp, there was a missionary that did a chalk drawing with the world and had faces of children of different nationalities around that world. He told of many people in other lands who had not heard the Gospel and were not saved. As Ken listened his heart was touched that he was playing Christian and he knew he hadn’t specifically asked God to forgive him and take away his sins. That night he accepted the Lord as his Savior.
