It’s me Lord~

It’s that time

When my feelings hurt so

I’m glad to go

But the older I get

I tend to forget

What was said, what we did

Where we went, and I can’t get rid

Of the emotions wild

Of the here, or there—

My commitment is there

My family is here.

My joy is there,

You understand Lord, I know

You walked a road so hard

But as a Man you asked,

‘Let this cup pass’.

My road is so much easier

My tears and pain too

And obedience is my goal

And your grace heals my soul.

I gladly return to our work abroad

I willingly say, this road I’ll trod.

I’ve shed my tears

And you’ve allayed my fears.

Your promises true and sure

Give me hope; I feel secure.

My man by my side

In God we abide –

I’ll enter the borders of my adoption

I’ll seek willing souls,

there is no other option.

Keep my eyes on you

I’ll keep you close, too.

Protect those I left

Bring those you desire

Thanks to those that pray

It helps me stay

I’m yours, Lord

Keep my heart on fire.

I love you, Lord

Keep my goals higher.
